You can find the results of the AACSB Accreditation Questionnaire, which was applied to 66 faculty members of the Faculty Academic Board here. A brief evaluation of the questionnaire is provided below.
Survey Evaluation
As a result of the survey, it is seen that there is almost a consensus on three questions among the questions answered by the participants. Participants believe that accreditation will contribute positively to both the image and quality of the faculty and the educational experience of the students. On the other hand, its application seems quite time consuming. According to the participants, it is necessary to change the structure of the faculty and the way it does business in order to fulfill the requirements of accreditation. Therefore, it is seen that the positive contributions of accreditation in general are accepted, but it is believed that our faculty should make a lot of effort to be accredited. Therefore, it is possible to comment that the differences between the requirements of accreditation and existing business processes are perceived to a significant extent.
Three quarters of respondents do not believe that business schools / departments will be easily distinguished from each other in the future, and more than half believe that other business schools / departments will be accredited within the next 10 years. Therefore, in general, it is possible to reach the conclusion that the accreditation initiative is significant in terms of distinguishing our school from the others.
Finally, 56 percent of the participants think that the selection of an institution of western origin makes accreditation more reliable in the selection of an accreditation institution.
