Business Standards
  1. Modified order of “Engagement, Innovation and Impact” to reflect the sequence as it is discussed in seminars and volunteer training.
  2. Standard 2: Updated Table 2-1 to reflect an additional column for Percentages of Faculty Producing ICs: one for the Percentage of Participating faculty producing ICs and the other for Percentage of total FTE faculty producing ICs.
  3. Standard 4: Added information in the Basis for Judgment and Guidance for Documentation requiring schools to provide reliable information to the public on an annual basis about their performance, including student achievement as determined by the school, with the number of students enrolled in each degree program and the number of graduates from each degree program. This change is made to comply with the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) requirements. AASCB is a CHEA recognized accreditor.
  4. Standard 9: Modified language in bullet 3 under Doctorate Degree Programs to indicate preparation of faculty responsibilities.
  5. Standard 15:
    • Updated fifth bullet point under Basis for Judgment to indicate "normally" versus generally.
    • Updated seventh bullet point under Basis for Judgment to indicate that academic engagement activities are consistent with the school’s mission-linked research.
    • Added additional language to Footnote 4 on Table 15-1 to clarify faculty qualifications for ABD doctoral students and faculty with newly earned doctoral degrees.
    • Updated table 15-2 to clarify how data should be presented in the table.
  6. Appendix: Added language in opening paragraph to indicate that schools can report examples of impact on constituencies.
